OLEAN — Area industry leader Chris Napoleon equates part of his job — as a recruiter of up-and-coming talent — to that of a pro sports scout.
His battle involves watching over local students who show interest and potential in manufacturing careers. Given the “brain drain” drawing those young men and women elsewhere in search of better job prospects, he said efforts must be taken now to fill job vacancies later.
