Mark Wilson is extremely proud of his years of service to his country, with two completed tours in Iraq and his position as an E4 Specialist. When Mark was visiting his young daughter in between tours, a horrifying gun accident led to Mark sustaining severe injuries, including him becoming blind.

Mark built a relationship with the Blind Veterans Association so he could help other veterans like himself. Mark and his family are responsible for welcoming and supporting new veterans and their families to the BVA. When Mark tried eSight technological glasses he could see again for the first time in six years.

Mark just turned 51, but continues to do woodworking between surgeries with the machinery donated by Laguna Tools.

The cost of eSight is $15,000  but because of his medical expenses, Mark isn’t able to get them without your help.

A fundraising page has been set up to help: http://www.gofundme.com/HelpMarkSee. Mark can be reached at 573.406.8152 or 217.242.1791 for more information.
