About this job
We’re looking for a detail-oriented craftsperson with a passion for high-quality work to join us as a Furniture Repair Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the refurbishment and repair of Feather assembled furniture and upholstery. You will work closely alongside our delivery and fulfillment center teams to solve challenges head on and ensure the quality of our products. Most importantly, through your restoration efforts, your work will have a direct impact on our customers and their overall Feather experience. What you’ll do
Demonstrated experience with furniture repair, refinishing, restoration, deluxing, carpentry and/or woodworking; – – — Please submit photos of past work if you have them.
Determine whether completed furniture repairs meet quality standards
Additionally: Train warehouse/delivery teammates on touch-up basics.
Additionally: Contribute to repair process innovations and documentation

What you need to be successful
Experience repairing scratches, dents, knicks, and gouges in primarily wood, metal.
Experience with color matching and blending.
Experience with structural repair of seating, case goods, living upholstery and similar
Nice to have: Experience with upholstery repair

Ability to lift & move heavy furniture with help from dollies, hand-trucks, and team members
