Camp Walt Whitman is searching for a Woodshop Director for Summer 2022.

The Woodshop Director at Camp Walt Whitman will work with an assistant teaching children aged 7-15 how to safely make projects throughout the summer. Our woodshop is well equipped with everything you will need to help spark the imagination of kids and begin to teach the next generation of woodworkers. The world is your oyster as the Woodshop Director at Camp Walt Whitman. Develop projects for campers to work on individually as cabins as well as working with campers when they have an idea for another project where they will need guidance. Woodshop is a camp favorite of our campers. This is a position where you can cultivate the next generation of woodworkers by nurturing the imagination of youth.
