Woodworking Specialist Pay Range:$30.00
Woodworking Specialist Work Hours: 7:00am- 3:30pm Monday-Friday
Woodworking Specialist Start Date: ASAP

 Responsible for sanding, finishing, cutting, and assembling wood, plastics, and metal parts.

 Responsible to:

• Sands, finishes, cuts, and assembles wood and plastic parts.

• Operates hand and power tools.

• Takes initiative to drive results and continuously improve current processes.

• Demonstrates the ability to take initiative and work independently.

• Uses part diagrams to accurately identify items.

• Assists with quality inspections of items.

• Operates and tends to CNC routers.

• Assembles and packages light fixtures.

• Complies with safety procedures and guidelines.

• Processes repetitive tasks with efficiency and accuracy.

• Assists with cleaning and organizing work and storage areas.

• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.

• Performs other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements to be considered:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related manufacturing or warehouse experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must have experience operating the following equipment: Table saw, CNC router, Knee mill, Drill press, Band saw, Router table, Belt sander, Hand sander, Hand and power tools

• Ability to use calipers and tape measure

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
